I am Hazel. Some would know me better as Zizzy.
Was a wife, now Enjoying Life in a different light.
A twenty-something. yes, that’s right I’m only in my twenties and I’m already recently separated with my husband. Albeit it being forced because of an affair he was having, I was glad that it happened (the separation, not the affair). I realized and am realizing a lot of things and am honestly enjoying life again.
I am a boss, a colleague, mentor and friend. (at the moment, I am unemplyed though..)
A mother & Amateur Photographer. Student of life, love and of the lens. Love pictures and taking them.I may not be good with the camera, but I enjoy having control over it.
I enjoy movies. A lot. A big fan of Romantic Comedies – thanks to Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks and Nora Ephron. (You’ve Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle).
I enjoy watching art films and support independent films, because I believe they are what movies SHOULD be. Although I also am a big supporter of commercial films. :p They make you experience a different life if only for two hours or so.
I’m an online junkie. Got on-board with blogging year 2003. I have since learned and enjoyed chatting through IRC, ICQ, Yahoo and MSN Messengers. I have gotten into network sites – Friendster, MySpace, Multiple and most recently Facebook and Twitter.
I am a very voracious reader. Currently (I am writing this October 2009) I am into Carlos Ruiz Zafon’s books. I have read Shadow of the Wind and loved it, now I’m reading The Angel’s Game and still loving it. Harry Potter series – check! Twiligh saga – check! (although IMHO, I think Meyer was a sell out with the way the films went. total butcher of the book — and the fourth installment? sell-out in big bold letters).
And here I am trying to enjoy my twenties again… well before it runs out. I have roughly two years and a few months left before I hit thirty.
Yes, I’m not even thirty yet I’ve been married – separated (divorce isn’t an option where I live) and have a young child already. Now it’s time I have some fun and enjoy and actually get my life back.
Yes, I think so.
